- I owned a small real estate company on Long Island, but now I am retired. My husband and I travel to Italy at least two times a year, and I have a lot of family in the South. Both of us are active members of the Italian Cultural Society and the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimo`, and I am a member of NIAF and IACE. We love all things Italian and look forward to being a part of this great new site. I am trying to obtain Italian citizenship, but I am encountering great difficulties, because I was adopted by my parents at 9 months of age. I am Italian by blood.

I mean.....I see my kids and the younger people I work with texting, MySpacing, tweeting, whatever, they are constantly telling me "Get on facebook" "Get on MySpace" So I skipped right to a networking site that fit me and my bloodline.
I think me (the old fart) might actually enjoy this!
