Summertime in Italy

I am very excited, as I just bought my ticket yesterday for Italy. I will be studying Italian language in Perugia for the month of July, but I will be arriving a few days early to do some traveling of my own. I am flying into Rome, but hope to travel to Naples and Caserta. Any suggestions for where I should go specifically? I would like to travel to the villages that my great grandparents are from in Caserta. I have no idea what to expect though.

Where do you usually go to when you do visit? I see you are in NH...how is the Italian scene there?

Hello There... I just Joined today.. Way to cool this is.!! By the way .. One town my family is from is Pietravairano.. I have not been there to visit yet.. I can't wait to go back and visit the rest of the towns where my family is from.. Italy is always Work for me but what a blast! O wow, that's great! One is from Pietravairano and the other is from Valle Agricola. Are there buses to either of these places from Naples?
