About the Host: William 'Bill' Russo has had a distinguished career in public service rising to an executive managerial position with the New York City Housing Authority whose mission is to provide decent, safe, and affordable housing to people of low and moderate income. For the past several years Bill hosted a number of different shows for Dolce and covered events including the annual NYC Columbus Day parade, the Feast of San Gennaro and the Miss Italia USA contest. Bill is an Executive Board member of the Italian Heritage and Culture Committee, Inc (www.italyculturemonth.org); Vice President of the Italian American Association of the N.Y.C. Housing Authority; and is also a volunteer for the N.Y.C. Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and of the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. Graduated from Brooklyn College with a major in Urban Studies.
