My name is Carmela and I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I am a proud Italian-American whose family roots trace back to la bella Sicilia.

I teach Italian to students in grades K through 5 as well as in the AURORA Italian Language and Scholarship program. Italian is the language that I grew up as well as the language of my ancestors . . .
